Trail Watch Program

Trail Watch Program

St. Louis County Parks invites hikers, cyclists and equestrians to become TRAIL WATCH VOLUNTEERS!
There are more than 140 miles of trails in St. Louis County Parks and we need your help monitoring them! As a Trail Watch Volunteer, you’ll assist Park Rangers in keeping our trails safe and enjoyable for all! Volunteers, ages 16 years and older, must attend an initial 2-hour orientation where Park Rangers will teach trail etiquette and reporting procedures. Trail Watch Volunteers serve as ambassadors, but do not intervene in dangerous situations (only report them).

All St. Louis County Parks can be monitored including:

West County
Al Foster Trail, Queeny, Greensfelder, Creve Coeur, Lone Elk, West Tyson, Faust, Love & Tilles Parks

South County
Grant’s Trail, Clydesdale, Bohrer, Buder, Mathilda, Laumeier, Jefferson Barracks, Bee Tree, Cliff Cave,
Simpson, Suson & Lower Meramec Parks

North County
North County Bikeway, Spanish Lake, Bella Fontaine, McDonnell, Champ & Fort Bellefontaine Parks

Advance registration required.
