The St. Louis County Economic Council (SLCEC) was formed in 1984 to facilitate the development of long-term, diversified business and employment opportunities that lead to increased wealth and well being for citizens, businesses, and institutions of St. Louis County and the St. Louis region.
SLCEC is a valuable resource for businesses that need conventional, alternative or combined financing solutions including fixed-asset loans, seed financing and tax-exempt bond programs. SLCEC also provides mentoring services such as finance, tax and accounting, marketing, information technology, human resource and other critical areas of expertise.
